All our paper-based products are made using environmentally friendly processes. Our note cards are printed on FSC certified paper from the Neenah Environment line. It uses a mix of recycled, post-consumer recycled, and Forest Stewardship Council certified fibers. They're printed in the U.S. by Anderson Lithograph, an FSC certified printer.

Paper use has more than doubled in the past 20 years and it's anticipated to continue. The U.S. is by far the largest paper consumer, both in volume and per capita. The impact of producing all this paper isn't limited to the destruction of forests; it also impacts the water, our atmosphere, as well as the social issues surrounding the pulp industry. But there are highly effective ways to responsibly manage forests as an agricultural resource. The Forest Stewardship Council has developed an internationally agreed upon set of principles for responsible forest management and FSC standards, and provides a way for consumers to make responsible decisions about what they buy.

Making responsible paper choices is an effective way to protect the environment. However, PRE-cycling is our favorite source of raw material. Diverting material from the landfill eliminates the need to process it into fresh sheets. Of course, most anything we do impacts the environment. But pre-cycling does minimize the amount of resources required to produce and transport raw materials. So far we've used this concept for our packaging, and we're looking forward to expanding our product line using this concept in the near future.
