Join us in welcoming Youth Community Service as the first Benny Points collaborator! YCS has been giving students the opportunity to exercise their power to create change in their communities since 1990. Summer of service camps, after school clubs, workshops, and events put students in lead roles designing solutions to such issues as hunger and homelessness, the environment, caring for the very young, and providing respectful service to seniors.
     These students are inspired to resolve issues in their communities. They're gaining skills and experience as they work together towards a common goal.
    Youth Community Service partners with after-school care providers, teachers, and school districts to enhance education through service-learning, where the curriculum is applied to solve

real-world issues. Students develop additional problem-solving strategies, increase self-esteem, maximize learning, and discover that they are agents of change. It allows students to spread their wings in a way that isn't possible in a totally adult-led environment.
    Your shopping dollars provide students with the resources, transportation, and tools needed to carry out their work. The students thank you for supporting their mission!
