Save money as well as space in the landfill. Okey, so this next one's not so little. Next time you buy a car, consider a hybrid vehicle. You can rent a minivan when you go on vacaton. Unplug what you're not using. Yes, you'll save energy. Show your appreciation, hang up the cell phone and thank the grocery clerk. When the lightbulb burns out, swap it with a compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL). Plant a tree. Decorate a bottle to root a cutting.
